Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: One Belmont Avenue, Suite 200, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004

Position Summary:

InvestEdge, Inc. continues to enjoy rapid growth in terms of client franchise and solution breadth. As our client franchise and solution has grown, the complexities associated with the solution functionality and client support has increased.

InvestEdge is seeking a results-oriented individual to manage and coordinate the software application business release lifecycle.


Responsibilities:

Key job tasks include the following:
• Partner with InvestEdge relationship management personnel, clients and development staff to build and document internal business requirements.
• Monitor InvestEdge’s Version Control system and Incident Management system to capture application changes that need to be packaged and documented for each release.
• Manage release testing processes:
 - Coordinate the creation and maintenance of testing environments
 - Develop and establish quality assurance and testing standards for new applications and enhancements
 - Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts for user interface, functionality, system and "ad-hoc testing"
 - Execute regression tests, functional tests and data tests
 - Collaborate with development team in application testing, defect reporting and review, and defect re-testing
 - Document quality assurance practices
 - Execute risk management process for high-risk changes
• Collaborate with development architects to fully document application changes for each release
 - Build and publish client release notes
 - Update application user guides with new functionality
• Conduct internal and external training on application releases


Qualifications:

The position requires knowledge of terms and concepts used in the investment management and investment processing industries.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the wealth management industry including some or all of the following areas: portfolio management, trading, performance measurement, post trade compliance, and operations. The position requires strong analytical skills, and experience writing technical documents such as business requirements, release notes, test plans, and system documentation.

Additional Qualifications include:
• 5 years experience in the Investment Management and/or Wealth Management Investment Processing industry
• Strong technical and business written/oral communication skills
• Experience with Issue management software (JIRA), project management software (AtTask), Version Control Systems (Sub-version), Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

• Occasional travel to client offices as required
