SENIOR PROGRAMMER
InvestEdge, Inc. seeks a Senior Programmer to work in Bala Cynwyd, PA, to apply efficient design and support to customized applications, including architecture, database structure, and business
rules. Lead core development tasks, including both application and database development. Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting
programs. Lead in customizing installation to client specifications. Provide application support to maintain high customer satisfaction levels. Provide deployment support during application
rollouts. Help lead and direct future product development, testing, and documentation. Administer data loading process and conduct strategic analysis of standard data load for current and future
clients. Lead and conduct design and code reviews for both peers and junior developers. Research Level 2 and 3 support issues as required. Trace, analyze and recommend resolutions for software bugs.
Handle intra-day dataload and flat file trading errors and overnight on-call duty for dataload errors. Participate in and be an advocate for issues resolution and change control process. Must have
bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or directly related field plus five (5) years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst. Experience must include five years
post-baccalaureate/ progressively responsible experience with Windows SQL; Crystal Reports development; SQL clustering, profiling, optimization, and replication; Microsoft SQL Server tools;
Microsoft Transact-SQL; relational databases and database administration; data migration and preservation techniques; and development of complex stored procedures that can handle large data sets,
including the use of recursive queries. One year experience required in version control software (SVN, CVS, and VSS) and in handling overnight support issues including, but not limited to, bulk-copy
processes, stored procedure updates and emergency bug fixes. Multiple Openings.
