Update on COVID-19 Response
Our ability to sustain operations during this health emergency is the product of our expanded Business Resiliency planning. Over the last two years we have taken a number of steps to operate in a virtual environment, some of the decisions implemented include: providing laptop computers to all employees, encouraging employees to work from home one day a week, implementing Multi-Factor Authorization, expanding VPN capacity, implementing Microsoft Teams to improve virtual collaboration, and improving information security protocols (SOC2) for remote employees. The experience we gained from this proactive planning allows InvestEdge to continue supporting daily operations while working remotely to avoid business disruptions to our company and customers.
InvestEdge’s COVID-19 response team has taken the following actons:
- We formed our COVID-19 cross functional response team.
- We implemented our Business Continuity Plan for the pandemic due to COVID-19 starting on March 3rd, All non-essential business travel and in-office guest visits were suspended.
- On March 12th we required all employees to work remotely. We have taken preventative measures earlier than most companies, and have also advised employees to practice social distancing, and to communicate any health issues in their home to HR.
- We are able to conduct business at our offices and access the SunGard data center, if needed, because InvestEdge is classified as an essential business by the Governor of Pennsylvania.
InvestEdge realizes that all we have done to respond to this health emergency, to protect our employees and support our customers, gives a certain amount of assurance; however, we realize that being there for you is the best assurance we can give you.
